Tadhkirat al-Miʿād of Qāḍī Muḥammad Thanāʾullāh Pānīpatī

Tadhkirat al-Miʿād is a Persian work by Qāḍī Muḥammad Thanāʾullāh Pānīpatī (d. 1225 AH/1810 CE). The book deals with religious and moral themes connected to death, the Hereafter, resurrection and preparation for the life to come. Drawing upon Qurʾānic verses, hadith and the sayings of the scholars, the author encourages spiritual reform, righteous action and mindfulness of the Hereafter.

This edition was printed in 1870 CE by the Munshi Nawal Kishore Press, Lucknow, one of the most important publishing houses for Arabic, Persian and Urdu works in nineteenth-century India.
