Masail of Suluk taken from the verses of the Quran covering matters of Tasawwuf and purification of the heart. Initially this work was part of Hazrat Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanwi's Urdu Tafsir Bayan al-Quran. The initial editions printed this work in Arabic and then later only the translated Urdu was printed with the tafsir. As the original Arabic work was very difficult to get hold of, Shaykh Abd al-Hafiz al-Makki compiled the original Arabic into a book separate from the Tafsir.
