In the year 2014 Jamiat Ulama Hind invited a group of scholars from Pakistan to India. This group was led by Mawlana Abd al-Majid Ludhianwi, Dr Sher Ali Shah Madni and Dr. Abd al-Razzaq Iskandar and they visited many historic sites. The author of this work Mawlana Zubair Ahmad Siddiqi was also in this group and during this trip he began to pen his experiences down. After his return he began to prepare the notes for print and made certain additions to his notes upon the advice of his teacher Mawlana Abd al-Majid Ludhianwi.
