During the reign of Akbar many doubts were cast on nabuwwat and people began to argue that a person can be saved without accepting the nabuwwat of Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. The people in the court of Akbar who would mention the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam would be removed from court and replaced. In the year 987 AH Mulla Mubarak Nagori authored a work in which he gave Akbar the authority of a mujtahid.

In this work Mujaddid Alf Thani discusses the meaning of nabuwwat and responds to those people who rejected it. He also discusses miracles and the nabuwwat of the Final Messenger Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
