Mawlana Nasir al-Din's other work his hashiyah on Mishkat is a hugely appreciated work among the ulama. This edition includes the complete Jami al-Tirmidhi text and al-Arf al-Shadhi of Allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri.

Mawlana Nasir al-Din Ghorghushtwi studied Hadith under Mawlana Qamr al-Din Chakralwi the student of Mawlana Ahmad Ali Saharanpuri. He also sat in the lessons of Shaykh al-Hind Mahmud Hasan for a short period of time in Dar al-Ulum Deoband. He taught Hadith for over fifty years and he was known as the Shah Waliyyullah of Sarhad. Mawlana Nasir al-Din Ghorghushtwi was a master of many sciences, some of which include Hadith, Tafsir, Fiqh and Kalam. He was also an expert in the science of Tasawwuf and was an accomplished Naqshbandi master.

Mawlana Nasir al-Din Ghorghushtwi passed away in 1969.
