Khulāṣat al-Fatāwā of Faqīh Ṭāhir ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Rashīd al-Bukhārī, together with Majmūʿat al-Fatāwā of ʿAllāmah ʿAbd al-Ḥayy al-Lakhnawī

This volume brings together two important works of Ḥanafī jurisprudence. The first is Khulāṣat al-Fatāwā of Faqīh Ṭāhir ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Rashīd al-Bukhārī (d. 542 AH/1147 CE), a well-known compendium of Ḥanafī legal rulings. It is accompanied by Majmūʿ al-Fatāwā of ʿAllāmah ʿAbd al-Ḥayy al-Lakhnawī (d. 1304 AH/1886 CE), the distinguished Indian Ḥanafī jurist, hadith scholar and author.

The edition was printed in Lucknow by the celebrated Munshi Nawal Kishore Press, one of the most important publishing houses of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century India. Although the present copy bears no clear publication date, its typography, format and printing context suggest a date in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century.
